We're looking for an experienced and levelheaded
Veterinary Receptionist
who is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for our clients and their pets.
Your Role
As one of our receptionists, you are our first impression--the friendly face and helpful voice on the phone. You'll manage the front desk and ensure a seamless flow for every patient and owner who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for a proactive, organized, and compassionate professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
Be the Client Advocate:
Greet clients and their pets with a warm welcome. Handle all communications--phone, email, text, and in-person--with professionalism and empathy.
Manage the Experience:
Efficiently schedule appointments, process payments and insurance claims, and ensure all client records are accurate and up-to-date.
Keep Things Running Smoothly:
Coordinate with the veterinary team (DVMs, RVTs, and TAs) and management to ensure timely patient flow. You'll manage waiting times and keep the front office clean and organized.
Solve Problems:
Anticipate client needs and handle questions or concerns with a calm, can-do attitude. You'll be the go-to person for frontline questions and the mediator between clients and the medical team.
What You Bring
Experience:
You have at least two years of experience in a similar client-facing role, managing a busy front desk and a multi-line phone system.
Veterinary reception experience is an absolute asset.
Tech Savvy:
You're comfortable with veterinary software like Ezvet and can quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot common issues.
Skills:
You have excellent communication and organizational skills, and you're a master at multitasking and seeing tasks through to completion--all without losing your cool.
Attitude:
You're a natural extrovert and problem solver. You're friendly, quick-witted, and can relay information concisely.
