Position Summary
As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for our clients and supporting our veterinary team. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting with client communications, and helping ensure smooth daily clinic functions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service
: Greet clients and pets warmly in person and over the phone; respond to emails; provide information about services, procedures, and policies.
Appointment Scheduling
: Book, confirm, and adjust appointments while maintaining accurate client records.
Client Communication
: Share follow-up instructions, medication details, and care guidance; address inquiries and concerns with empathy.
Billing & Payments
: Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Team Support
: Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow staff to deliver excellent care.
Clinic Cleanliness
: Help maintain a tidy front desk, waiting area, and examination rooms to ensure a welcoming environment.

Qualifications
Experience
: Previous experience in a veterinary animal hospital is required
Education
: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in veterinary office admin or veterinary assistance is a plus.
Technical Skills
: Comfortable with veterinary practice software and other animal hospital related sites is an asset.
Availability
: Willingness to work evenings and Saturday mornings.
