Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks, such as restraining animals during examinations or treatments
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Process payments for services rendered and provide clients with invoices or receipts
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, appointments, and medical treatments
- Provide general information to clients regarding pet care, vaccinations, and preventive treatments
- Preference will be considered to the candidate having knowledge about blood collection and anal gland expression
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling appointments and managing client records
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
