Job Description


Parkways Animal Hospital is looking for part-time or full-time veterinary assistant/receptionists to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, reliable, detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience working in a veterinary setting is preferred, but not required as training will be provided. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Processing payments
  • Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and work area
  • Assisting the veterinarian with restraint of cats and dogs
