Summary

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in the Annex. In this role, you will contribute to our mission by providing outstanding support to our veterinarians and ensuring excellent customer service for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures Provide compassionate care to animals Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs Prepare and manage laboratory samples as needed Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments Educate clients on pet care and health issues Support the team in delivering high-quality veterinary services

Qualifications

Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related field preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Laboratory experience is a plus Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals Team player with a positive attitude Basic knowledge of animal health and behavior is an asset
