Veterinary Assistant (student)
Job Description
Abbeydale Animal Hospital in St. Thomas, Ontario, is looking for a part-time High School Student to fill a Veterinary Assistant position and join our team of dedicated pet advocates. The ideal candidate will be a minimum of 16 years of age and will be available to work from Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to close and some Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in a veterinary role. Responsibilities will primarily include general daily housekeeping and cleaning tasks throughout the hospital to provide a sterile and clean environment for our patients, our clients and our team. The successful candidate will also be involved in assisting our team members in providing compassionate patient care and helping in various other day to day functions as needed.
