Greenboro Veterinary Clinic is expanding and is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our team!

We are seeking a Full Time VA to join our awesome team. We are a small animal general practice that puts the wellbeing of our staff and patients first.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, and an animal lover. Excellent communication and time management skills are an essential part of this role.

Duties:
-Feed, water, and provide basic care to hospitalized or boarding animals.
-Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
-Monitor animals for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and report any concerns to the veterinarian.
-Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the clinic, including animal enclosures, exam rooms, and surgical areas.
-Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
-Clean and disinfect animal cages, kennels, and other equipment.
-Assist during surgeries by preparing surgical packs, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring proper equipment and supplies are ready.

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing
