Your responsibilities would primarily involve assisting the veterinarian during appointments including:

patient restraint

client education on health care services needed

medical record keeping and creating invoices for services performed

filling prescriptions

scheduling further appointments

performing follow up calls to owners checking on a patient's progress with their treatment/recovery at home.


You may also be assisting the rest of the medical team with other aspects of patient care and maintaining hospital cleanliness.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Veterinary Assistant diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a veterinary hospital.
