We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.
Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring an efficient flow of patients throughout the day.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.
Assist in processing payments and handling financial transactions.
Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
Handle laboratory samples as needed, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine love for animals and their owners.
Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
Laboratory experience is preferred to assist with sample processing and related tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
