Niagara Pet Hospital (Small animal Clinic) is looking for a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinarian to provide excellent care to our patients. You will be responsible for assisting veterinary staff / Doctor in examining and monitoring animal patients and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the exam and operating rooms. Our ideal candidate is willing to learn new skills and develop their talents as an assistant. You must have passion for caring for animals and excellent customer service skills. High school Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be able to multitask and prioritize and manage time efficiently. Basic understanding of animal behavior and basic computer skills are required.
Physical ability to restrain larger pets when necessary. Must be able to work on alternate Saturday. Will train the right candidate.

. We close at 6 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 7 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm to maintain
work-life balance.
