Job Description

We are looking to add a Veterinarian Technician to our pet care team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable in a supervisor position but also wants to be an active part of the job.

The successful candidate must be motivated, able to multi-task and manage time, be caring, patient and reliable. Applicant should be someone who likes doing the work but also goes that additional step by paying attention to details. This can be a physical job and candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for parts of the shift. Shifts will be 10 hours. Schedule to be discussed and decided upon with employee.

This would be a good position for a veterinarian technician looking for a change of pace from the typical clinic setting, while still being a part of the pet care industry.

Reliable transportation is required as job location is outside the city. Must be able to provide criminal record check and references upon request. Wage to be discussed based on education and prior work experience.

Job details include, but not limited to; office work (interacting with clients, computer use, answering phone and email, handling money transactions), general cleaning (lots of poop scooping), working with others, sometimes working alone and dog entertainment coordinating.
