Your Role:

ChefHero is looking for a Vendor Success Manager to spearhead relations with our Toronto area food vendors and play a critical role in our overall vendor strategy (company wide). In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring on new food service vendors and manage current ones, working with client success to ensure a great experience on both sides. You will play a key role in increasing the value proposition of ChefHero\xe2\x80\x99s marketplace by maintaining an excellent delivery experience, improving our costs of goods solid (not GM), and helping increase cash flow through vendor payables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote ChefHero to food vendors, generating new business opportunities and solutions for our clients
• Manage a team of vendors that service our Toronto area restaurant customers
• Analyze business data to assess vendor performance and give impactful feedback
• Onboard new vendors that fit evolving needs
• Meet personal and team margin targets
• Maintain vendor standards and work with them to ensure frictionless product flow
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly vendor performance and KPI management
• Report and provide feedback to management
• Represent ChefHero positively in the food industry
• Liaise with other vendor relations managers as ChefHero expands, and share best practices
• Manage partner forecasting process and effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience leading projects and teams in a professional environment
• You enjoy metrics and data analytics
• You are fearless. You\xe2\x80\x99re happy to dive into learning new things and can strike up a conversation with anyone.
• Don\xe2\x80\x99t wait for things to come to you - you make things happen and get the job done.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit
• You\xe2\x80\x99re an avid listener with a swift ability to solve issues
• You have a team player attitude but are self-driven
• Are comfortable (and excited about!) learning new technologies
• Have experience with food vendors/suppliers/distributors, the food industry, or restaurants is considered a plus
• All other duties as assigned within the scope and spirit of the position
