The Velocity Program is not your average internship or co-op! This is a customized experience that focuses on providing you with the development and tools you need to grow your career. After successfully completing a co-op or internship with top performance, we will work with you to establish your future placements. As a result, you will get to learn, grow, and experiment within different areas of both Scotiabank and Tangerine!
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Manage end-to-end campus talent acquisition, including building, executing, and developing on campus strategy.
• Help create and deliver presentations on and off campus.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates across various geographies through all stages of the recruiting pipeline.
• Plan, manage, and execute events and large-scale conferences.
• Work and negotiate with key vendors and internal business leaders.
• Travel (by car, rail and plane) within Canada to various Universities and Colleges.

• You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
• You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
• You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions and/or hackathons.
• You are able to manage multiple projects and tasks in accordance with suitable timelines.
• You are enthusiastic, creative, and friendly with a positive outlook.
• You have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• You are available for a 12-month internship (May 2023 \xe2\x80\x93 April 2024).
