Job Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and results driven Technical Sales and Service Technician. This role will involve the assessment, repair and sale of valves in the Water and Wastewater industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, building relationships, has a passion for sales, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Customer Service and Support:



Conduct valve maintenance, assessment and repair. Ability to work in both Water and Wastewater environments. Willingness to work in confined spaces (in-ground valve chambers). Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical assistance, and support. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to meet customer needs. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate valve solutions.

2. Product Knowledge and Training:



Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to water and wastewater treatment. Develop a deep understanding of our product line, including specifications, applications, and installation requirements. Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on the features, operation, and maintenance of our valves.

3. Technical Sales:



Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the water and wastewater industry in Ontario. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our valves. Provide technical expertise and support to customers during the sales process.

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on assessments and service work conducted. Provide feedback to management on product improvements, market opportunities, and competitive threats.

Qualifications:



Prior experience with hands-on work or technical trade. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with customers and work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ontario. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the water and wastewater industry is an asset. Understanding of valves and fluid control systems is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
