Birch Mountain Enterprises (BME) is hiring experienced operators to start immediately. We have guaranteed work, 12 hour days, with multiple shift schedules available to choose from, 7/7, 14/14, 14/7. We also provide competitive hourly rates, averaging arrangements or overtime after 8 hours a day with some contracts, monthly living allowance or camp options available, some camp positions also have flights to the main hubs in Edmonton and Calgary provided, company health and dental benefits, with disability and life insurance, a health spending account, a retirements savings plan (RSP), employee assistance program, and access to discounts for various businesses in town. We offer competitive wages and seek candidates that are seeking secure, long-term employment. Job Summary: This position involves the safe operation of equipment to complete assigned jobs. Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in the industrial sector. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to daily logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures.
• Ensure that all training is kept current.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.
• Seek out continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in all activities.

• Possess a valid Class 1 or 3 operator’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 3 years experience (including up to 18 speed manual class 1 equipment).
• Previous (or related) experience operating.
• Mine drive experience is an asset.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
