People Can Fly is seeking a UX Designer that will work with the design team and be responsible for ideating and conveying the vision of the game\xe2\x80\x99s interface and user experience elements. This role will primarily involve creating, owning, and implementing original UI/UX designs in close collaboration with the design, art and engineering teams. The UX Designer will own the flow and feel of all interface elements in our game.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain workflow for the UI/UX department.
Provide day-to-day feedback and creative problem solving.
Ensure that the work of the team follows the quality standards, artistic direction, and deadlines of the game.
Collaborate with artists, designers, and other disciplines to create an excellent and coherent user experience.
Ensure that game information is well conveyed through the various user interfaces.
Ensure consistency in the UI/UX design from menus to in-game elements.
Collaborate with outside user testing and develop a positive feedback loop.
Ensure accessibility features are helping our game be as inclusive as possible.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of UI/UX experience.
At least 1 shipped AAA project.
Strong expertise in design fundamentals and UI/UX design trends.
Mastery of UX interaction and design principles and deliverables including rapid prototyping, flow diagrams, wireframes, experience maps and annotated comps.
Good knowledge of the pipeline for motion design, UI animation and VFX.
Ability to illustrate ideas and advocate them within the team.
Strong understanding of color theory and how color affects mood & focal points
Nice to Have
Experience working with UMG in Unreal Engine 4 or 5
Traditional art skills along with graphic design competencies (composition, layout, typography, and color/tone)
