Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of designers and analysts from initial research to validation of proposed design.
  • Design and conduct remote usability testing using static, clickable mockup and a real product.
  • Translate your findings into actionable insight that improves usability of a product.
  • Create sketches, user flows, site mapping, prototypes, user scenarios.
  • Create high-fidelity design concepts and prototypes to share with stakeholders and test with users.
  • Collaborate with developers to review designs, discuss product features and implementation.
  • Check implemented features and create bugs.
  • Synthesize and extract insights from collected data (clicks, page views) to identify a possible pain points in the user experience that can be turned into research topics.
  • Create and improve design guidelines.
Requirements
  • Degree in either Psychology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience within User Experience Research.
  • Portfolio with completed projects that describe goals, process and results.
  • Experience with a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative testing methods, which may include interviews, surveys, ideation sessions, ethnographic field research, usability evaluation and diary studies.
  • Innate curiosity to understand users: who they are, what motivates them, frustrates them, and how we can support them.
  • Ability to translate your findings into actionable insights
  • Co-design sessions, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent understanding guidelines for mobile devices and desktop applications
  • Skilled with prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, mobile prototyping tools
  • Previous experience with B2B SaaS solutions is a plus (ERP, CRM, Payroll, Tax or Payment Processing).
  • Understand front-end development and the implementation process (no coding required).
