The Utilities Technologist - Water is responsible for the coordination of a variety of programs, projects and activities in the Environmental Planning Section. This position prepares and administers various procurement activities and also performs a variety of administrative activities.
As our preferred candidate, you will have:
Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering Technology.
Registered as a Certified Engineering Technologist or Applied Science Technologist with The Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
Three years' experience in municipal public works environment with a focus on Project & infrastructure management.
One-year computerized drafting experience.
Valid class 5 Alberta driver's license.
Mature open communication skills
Good computer skills including Word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently.

Remuneration:
$48.05 to $50.58 per hour. (2025 Rates)
Hours of Work:
75 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
