THE ROLE:



Reporting to the Manager of Operational Readiness, the

Site Services and Utilities Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of site services activities and the operation and maintenance of primary utilities as it relates to the daily site operations. The supervisor will direct work of operations personnel and serve as the key liaison between the construction management team, camp management staff, contractors, employees, and Denison's Saskatoon Office. The

works closely with maintenance, health and safety, environmental, regulatory, and administrative personnel to ensure that site infrastructure is maintained and operated in a manner that ensures the safety of workers and compliance to legislative requirements and commitments.

This position is a full time, permanent role, based at Denison's flagship Wheeler River Project site, located in the northern Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, requiring a 2-week rotation (2 paid travel days, 14 days of work, 12 unpaid days off). Denison will provide meals and accommodations during the rotation and will arrange transportation to the Project Site from a designated central pick-up location along the route. The successful candidate will be expected to meet at the specified pick-up point prior to traveling to the site.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE



Having direct experience in remote settings and past opportunities to oversee some or all aspects of site services operations including waste management, road clearing and grading, generator operation and maintenance, potable water and wastewater treatment plant oversight, you bring a strong sense of responsibility and service-orientation to the position. Accompanied by solid communication and computer skills, you bring a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated competency in being able to identify and resolve complex problems with relative autonomy. Additional qualifications and attributes include:

Experience in supervising and coordination of site services including utilities (water, wastewater, power, propane), waste management, road maintenance, and general infrastructure. Proficiency ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Experience managing and scheduling maintenance activities for utility systems and site facilities. Competence with supervision of contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. Experience managing and monitoring budgets and control costs related to site services and utilities. Experience conducting inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement or repair. Competence collaborating with other departments to support operational needs and project planning. Minimum 5 years' relevant experience working in a supervisory role within a remote setting is required; mining or industrial industry experience is preferred. Experience in civil works, roadway maintenance, materials movement, and contractor management. Operations oversight to ensure the safe operation of wastewater and potable water treatment plants and other future service utilities as they come online during the construction of the Wheeler River Operation. Experience with scheduling and/or (CMMS)computerized maintenance management system software accompanied by a willingness to learn and use other technologies and software as required. Exhibits an uncompromising commitment to always working safely, and reporting and resolving hazards or unsafe conditions immediately. Possession of a Class 5 Drivers' License that is valid and in good standing is required. Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned. First Aid Certification must be valid at time of hire, or willingness to become certified prior to commencing employment. Willingness and ability to work on a 2-week rotation in a remote mining camp in northern Saskatchewan.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



Management, coordination, and oversite of a contract workforce responsible for roadway infrastructure maintenance, waste management, snow clearing, materials handling and receiving, and other general site services work. Management, coordination, and oversite of a contract workforce responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of mechanical and electrical site-based infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment plants, electrical infrastructure including diesel generators, HVAC systems, building services, fuel distribution systems, etc. Supervising utilities operators responsible for the operation and basic upkeep of site utilities and water treatment plants Responsible for the general operation, upkeep and maintenance of site, facilities and equipment supervision and scheduling of work and personnel, and the timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation and records. Ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of primary operating utilities required to support current and future site activities necessary for the construction of the Wheeler River Operation. Maintain the site, facilities and equipment in good working order, ensuring deficiencies are promptly reported and scheduled for repair and any hazard mitigation activities are taken and communicated for the protection and safety of personnel on site. Complete morning briefing and planning meetings, reviewing daily work schedules and priorities. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with site services and construction management team. Supervise all required inspections and reporting according to daily, weekly and monthly schedules, and when required ensuring necessary corrective actions are completed in a reasonable timeframe. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, permits, logs, inspections, safety checks and service activities. Accurately compile data in a timely manner to facilitate informed decision-making and effective cross-shift handover. Review of maintenance logs and verification of completion of scheduled tasks. Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot utility-related issues promptly. Provide reporting and communicate updates to management and relevant stakeholders Evaluate, identify and execute improvements to business processes and procedures for enhanced efficiency, quality, and safety. Enforce Denison's health and safety protocols diligently and consistently, including PPE requirements, and support safety programs and safety audits as necessary to identify and mitigate risks. Provide insight and support to the procurement team as needed to ensure goods and services are obtained in a manner that maximizes efficiency in terms of price, delivery and suitability. Ensures comprehensive understanding of contractor management requirements and project permits, always ensuring compliance with these requirements.
