We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Used Car Service Advisor / Coordinator to join our automotive team! We are seeking an organized and proactive employee to oversee the inspection, reconditioning and repair workflow for our used car inventory. This role will ensure timely and accurate processing of internal repair orders and smooth communication between Service, Used Car, Parts and Detailing departments. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate used vehicle inspections, reconditioning estimates, and repair approvals Create and manage internal repair orders and maintain up-to-date status tracking Communicate repair findings, timelines, and costs to management Follow up on parts, technician notes, and outstanding work to keep inventory moving Ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards before being retail-ready

Qualifications

Experience in service advising, shop coordination or similar roles preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with dealership systems (PBS) and repair processes is an asset

Experience

Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body work. Experience in auto estimating software and service writing enhances your ability to deliver precise estimates and communicate effectively with customers. Demonstrated ability in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters loyalty and repeat business. Knowledge of cash handling procedures combined with sales experience in automobile sales or related fields is advantageous.
