As a Registered Nurse, you provide reassurance, guidance, and high-quality care for clients and their families. Working alongside your Care Designer, you ensure that every care plan is tailored to meet individual needs with professionalism and empathy.

Duties and Responsibilities



Deliver Happier Aging by offering personalized, client-focused care in home and community settings. Take responsibility for the full client journey, ensuring families have peace of mind in alignment with our Brand Promise. Carry out comprehensive nursing care and assessments within your professional scope and the Code of Conduct. Maintain strong communication with your Care Designer, sharing opportunities to enhance the client experience. Respond promptly to requests and scheduling updates from the Care Services Center (CSC), meeting required timelines. Practice safely and confidently within your skills, experience, and professional guidelines. Represent Nurse Next Door positively as a trusted community ambassador. Use digital tools such as mobile apps and email to keep communication and documentation accurate and timely.

Requirements



Two positive professional references Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), including a valid certificate At least 1 year of RN experience (home health care preferred) Ability to travel independently to client visits Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts, as care is offered 24/7

Qualifications



Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BN) from a CNO-recognized program Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Valid CNO Certificate of Registration Current CPR and First Aid certification Valid driver's license
Experience Requirements:

Strong digital literacy, especially with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to organize, plan, multitask, and manage time effectively Experience in customer service or leadership considered an advantage Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Negative TB test
