We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tosca Automation Test Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing with a focus on test automation using Tricentis Tosca. This role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks and the ability to work within Agile methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in test automation using Tricentis Tosca.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for automation.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience integrating automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) pipelines.
• Experience in ERP/CRM testing.
• Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, including developing test cases, test data, and reusable modules.
• Run automated and manual test scripts to perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, retest fixes, and participate in defect review meetings.
• Maintain and update the Tosca test repository and automation framework.
• Work with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Assist in integrating automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) pipelines.
• Document test results, provide status updates, and contribute to test planning.
