We are seeking a skilled analyst with a strong background in the payments domain and experience in mainframe systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QA processes, testing life cycles, and defect management. This role requires a collaborative individual who can effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in payments domain with ISO8583 format
• Experience in authorization, clearing, and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in Mainframe TSO/ISPF and CONNEX Base24
• Experience in mainframe testing (Batch, Online & Database) and tools like File-Aid, File Manager, Star
• Familiarity with testing methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile) and design techniques
• Hands-on experience with ALM, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience working with DB2 database using SQL
• Experience with UFT automation tool
• Excellent analytical skills and a quick learner

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the banking domain, preferably lending
• Strong self-motivation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex requirement documents and business user stories
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
• Execute test cases (manual/automated), document test results, and raise defects when necessary
• Be responsible for component or end-to-end tracking of issues
• Work with JIRA, Confluence, and Client ALM for test case management, defect management, and test reporting
• Participate in defect triage, scrum, and team meetings
• Test new technologies and system functionality to ensure business acceptance, user acceptance, and system integration
• Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and business partners from initiation to close
