We are seeking a highly skilled Data Developer to join our team in Toronto. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in SQL development and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that meet business requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and SQL Server Back-End development, including SQL Scripts, Stored-Procedures, and Dynamic Stored-Procedures.
• Intermediate experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and library development.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, GitHub, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience working with databases such as SQL Server and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Strong understanding of DBMS Data Modelling, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data Pipelines, and Data Quality rules implementation.
• Ability to implement complex logic from business requirements using SQL Stored Procedures and/or Python.
• Capability to produce architecture design and technical documents for all layers, including Front-End UI, API Endpoints, and Back-End Stored Procedures.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ETL workflows and Dataiku Recipes using the Dataiku platform.
• Experience designing front-end solutions with React.js, OpenShift, and API Endpoints (APIGEE).
• Experience with HR systems and workflow management tools such as Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow.
• Experience developing Tableau Dashboards and reusable Workbooks.
• Good knowledge of API Endpoints development using Python.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures to support data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of data through rigorous testing and validation.
• Participate in Agile development sprints and contribute to team success.
• Document technical designs and processes for future reference and training purposes.
