This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and document solution requirements for the development team. You will liaise with data engineers and BI developers to deliver on requests and ensure that all necessary team members are involved. You will also work with project managers to outline delivery timelines and manage resources effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-10 years of business analysis experience, specifically in system implementation and software projects, with a strong background in designing data lakes and data warehousing components.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau platforms, including features and functionality, with the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical business users.
• Proficient in using Draw.io/Diagrams.net, LucidChart, JIRA, Confluence, and Google Suite applications.
• Exceptional interpersonal and consulting skills, emphasizing rapport-building, effective questioning, and technical expertise.
• Proven ability to document requirements, technical specifications, diagram processes, and create models (e.g., business requirements documents, data mapping, modeling, and related artifacts).
• Adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently and working independently.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in negotiating and leading prioritization and scoping discussions with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology vendors.
• Resourceful, critical thinker, and detail-oriented, capable of supporting sound decision-making for solution options that drive desired business outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engaging with various business stakeholders to understand their needs, including what output is being requested and working backwards to determine required data.
• Reviewing and consulting on BRD submissions with respective business stakeholders to ensure there is a clear understanding of what is being asked.
• Creating solution requirements and conducting walkthroughs with business stakeholders to obtain sign-off.
• Consulting and having ongoing discussions with developers to ensure work is progressing, providing clarity on requirements, and documenting decisions.
