The 2025-26 faculty grid for this position is $73,263 to $112,656 based on years of experience and a Bachelor of Education. Faculty with a Masters will be paid at a higher range.

Middle Years Programme (MYP)
in Grades 6-10 to the
Diploma Programme (DP)
in Grades 11-12. With small class sizes, 2.5 hours of weekly collaborative planning, and a strong culture of innovation, you'll have the time and tools to make a real difference in students' lives.
What You'll Do
Provide targeted learning strategies support to help students strengthen their
Math and Science (Physics or Chemistry)
skills at the DP level.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to develop and monitor
Student Support Plans (SSPs)
and
IEPs
.
Work within a
Response to Intervention (RTI)
model to track and enhance student progress.
Coach and support teachers in implementing classroom-based strategies and interventions.
Serve as a
Homeroom Advisor
for a group of approximately 12 students, fostering belonging and well-being.
Collaborate with our
Student Well-Being
,
Counselling
, and
Enriched Pathways
teams to ensure coordinated, holistic support.
Participate actively in co-curricular programming (clubs, athletics, outdoor education, etc.).

What You Bring
A
degree or diploma in Special Education
(or willingness to obtain one).
Minimum
2 years of experience
providing learning support to adolescents.
Experience supporting
Math and Science learners
in middle or upper school settings.
Understanding of the
IB philosophy
and a passion for inclusive, inquiry-based education.
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility to work and teach in
British Columbia, Canada
.
Preferred:
Experience in an independent or IB World School.
Background teaching
DP/MYP Science or Mathematics
.
Enthusiasm for connecting with students beyond the classroom through co-curricular activities.

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience in accordance with BC labour laws and company policies.
