Sylvan Learning Centre - SW Calgary is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Upper-Level Chemistry Tutor to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for experienced tutors, certified teachers, or university graduates with strong proficiency in high school sciences.

The successful candidate will provide homework support and instruction to small groups of students, teaching science subjects up to Grade 12. Creating a warm, encouraging, and engaging learning environment is essential, as is helping students develop academic skills and confidence.

We offer full training in Sylvan programs, including reading, math, study skills, and homework support. Tutors benefit from minimal prep time, as lesson plans and materials are provided by our full-time staff. Our team also handles all parent communication, allowing tutors to focus on what they do best -- teaching.

This is a part-time role with flexible, rotating hours, primarily during evenings and weekends. We strive to match each tutor's skills and background with students who need their unique support.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
