TITLE: Senior School Chemistry Teacher



STATUS: Full time



REPORTS TO: Dean of Academics



STARTING DATE: January 5, 2026



Target Hiring Range:

$72,000 - $120,000+ (placement on the grid is determined based on qualifications and years of eligible and related experience).

We are seeking an exceptional educator who thrives on new learning and breathes life into complex scientific concepts. You're authentic, skilled, and deeply understand how to help students master the challenging Grade 11 and 12 curriculums.

You have particular strengths in delivering the Ontario Secondary School curriculum for Grade

11 and 12 Chemistry

, and at least one of Grade

11 and 12 Physics or Computer Science

. You possess the advanced knowledge required to inspire students toward post-secondary studies in STEAM fields.

Reporting to the Dean of Academics, you will join a collaborative Senior School Science team. We achieve new heights in student learning through rigorous, inquiry-based investigations, real-world tasks, and authentic assessments. What you Bring:



Membership in the Ontario College of Teachers. Qualifications at the Senior level in both Chemistry and Physics. Post-secondary degree in Chemistry or Physics (combined or advanced degree is highly valued). Deep pedagogical and content knowledge of Chemistry and Physics. Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate experience is a significant asset. The ability to know and nurture each student: who she is and how she learns. A non-negotiable belief in collaboration and shared problem-solving. A passion for learning and a thirst for feedback. Respect, patience, and kindness for everyone in the workplace. A sense of humour is vital--we believe laughter fosters connection!
