Upper Elementary Montessori Teacher - start date Sept 2026

We are looking for a qualified, kind, and creative teacher to bring joy to our classroom.

Kennedy Montessori School is an established, CCMA accredited school with an excellent reputation. We are located in Markham, near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Kennedy Rd.

We are looking for a new teacher to run our Upper Elementary program, starting in September 2026. Our school goes by a regular school term (Sept-June), and includes one week of March break, and two weeks of winter break.

We are looking specifically for someone with a MACTE or AMI accredited Upper Elementary Diploma.

Alternatively, someone with a Lower El diploma (MACTE or AMI) who is interested in training for Upper Elementary.

Basic Requirements:

- MACTE accredited Elementary Diploma

- excellent spoken and written English

- be reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work well with others

- Experience is preferred, but not required.

- The ability to ski is a great bonus!

Compensation is based on experience. Extended health care and dental insurance is available.
