Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabricating, assembling, and building upholstered products. This role is essential in ensuring that our furniture meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Upholsterer will work in a warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to complete projects efficiently.

Duties

• Measure, cut, and sew upholstery materials according to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble upholstered items, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Use tools such as calipers and sewing machines to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Operate CNC machinery for cutting and shaping materials as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and completed products within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in upholstery or related fields.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts for material handling.
• Ability to fabricate, assemble, and build various upholstered products.
• Experience using calipers and CNC machinery is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job duties.
• Previous experience as a carpenter or in a similar role is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
