We not only meet, but exceed the most demanding delivery schedules and are always flexible to our customers needs.We are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to elevate our production. This individual must have a strong understanding of fabrics/leather materials, and experience reading and understanding shop drawings. This individual has an aptitude for efficiency and a knack for high quality upholstery from understanding frames to finished product.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Project Managers and internal upholstery teams on large scale quantity items, as well as custom pieces.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand 8 hours per day.
• Excellent use of manual skills, and hand tools.
• Able to establish quality of work by fixing errors, and providing expertise.
• Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Adjust/replace webbing, springs, and padding.
• Attach fasteners, buttons, buckles, trim, and other accessories using hand tools.
• Build/prep furniture up with fiber/foam to form smooth surfaces.
• Examine furniture frames, upholstery, springs, and webbing to locate defects.
• Ability to take direction and make changes as per client need.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• 3-5 years of Upholstery experience with a focus on the seating industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple pieces throughout the day.
• Experience upholstering with different materials: Vinyl, Leather, different fabrics.
