Are you ready to support the futures of remarkable young people? Brentwood College School is seeking a highly organized and collaborative

part-time University Counselling Administrative Assistant

to join our Academics team. This is a part-time position with 7-hour workdays while school is actively in session (approximately 35 weeks plus initial orientation and training).

What You'll Do:



Support University Counselling Operations:

Schedule student appointments, manage documentation, and maintain files and records

Prepare Materials:

Assist in creating reports, publications, and counselling resources

Event Support:

Help organize university-related events and attend when requested

Volunteer Hours Tracking:

Assist in coordinating and documenting student volunteer hours

Team Collaboration:

Work closely within a team of administrative assistants to ensure the smooth operation of the University Counselling Office

Adapt and Contribute:

Perform other duties as needed in our dynamic school environment

What We're Looking For:



Experience:

1-3 years in a professional office setting; educational experience preferred

Skills:

Proficiency in data management systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suites

Attributes:

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are essential. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple projects with ease, even when faced with competing deadlines

Communication Skills:

Your written and oral communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to connect with a wide range of individuals effectively possessing an approachable and collaborative working style

Tech Savvy:

You're comfortable with technology, particularly Google and Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Google Docs

Problem-Solving Mindset:

You stay calm under pressure, prioritize effectively, and bring a solutions-oriented approach to your work

Education / Experience:



1 - 3 years of experience working in a professional office environment Prior experience in an educational setting is advantageous A college diploma in office administration or related field is considered an asset
