1st or 2nd Year Pharmacy PharmD Student (MUST BE CURRENLTY IN THE FACULTY OF PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA) Ace Pharmacy is looking for a 1st or 2nd year pharmacy student. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in working in a community setting next to a family doctor\xe2\x80\x99s clinic. You will have the opportunity to provide clinical services based on your therapeutic knowledge and gain work experience in an independent community pharmacy. We are looking to fill the Saturday shift from 10AM to 4PM. Responsibilities:
- Accurate prescription preparation
- Data entry and documentation skills
- Point-of-sale
- Proficient phone, fax and computer skills
- Compliance packaging Inventory maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work independently in a fast environment
- Enthusiastic learner
- Strong work ethic and collaborative manner in a team setting
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software an asset
- Family owned and operated independent pharmacy
- Located beside Ace Medical Clinic in the Arbours of Keswick Neighbourhood in Southwest Edmonton
- On-site parking
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
