Fort Macleod Glass is looking for motivated and reliable
Carpentry Apprentices (1st or 2nd Year)
to join our growing installation team. If you're passionate about working outside, enjoying the weather, interacting with customers, and learning a skilled trade from experienced professionals, this role is for you!
We run two dedicated crews, each led by a Foreman with apprentices working under them. Our team is close-knit, and we foster a culture of learning and professional growth. We offer hands-on opportunities to apply your trade in real-world settings, helping you build the skills and experience needed in this career. We support our apprentices through their schooling and encourage continued education.
We are fully booked into 2026
, and as we continue to expand, we're looking to bring on multiple apprentices this year, creating great long-term growth opportunities for those joining our team.

: Enjoy working outdoors, installing windows and doors while getting hands-on experience in a skilled trade.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and finishing of residential and commercial windows and doors
Take accurate measurements for installations
Maintain strong organizational skills for job preparation
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work site at all stages of construction
Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot issues on job sites in collaboration with the Site Foreman while maintaining quality workmanship
Adhere to all local health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Assist in loading and unloading materials at the beginning and end of the project
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to read a tape measure (a must) and review installation paperwork
General awareness of hand tool operation
Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
Strong communication skills for customer service on-site
High school diploma
Heavy lifting (75-150lbs) is required
Previous construction experience is an asset but not required
