About the role

We are looking for a Unit Manager, Digital Distribution - Sales to join our growing team!

The Intact Agency WOA is expanding to offer new roles in Alberta to better support Western Canada. As a Unit Manager for this newly created team in Alberta, you\'ll work closely with your colleagues in Ontario to support our Digital Distribution Personal Lines customer offering across West, Ontario and Atlantic.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do here:

  • Lead, coordinate and supervise the activities of the team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of personal, material and financial resources according to the budget
  • Manage the performance of team employees according to company policies, ensuring continuous training and compliance with customer experience standards of the Intact Agency
  • Manage the quality of phone service by ensuring cost and productivity control according to the objectives of the Intact Agency
  • Ensure the quality of service offered to customers by regularly supervising team members according to standards in order to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the Intact Agency
  • Identify issues, propose solutions, make change and recommend improvements on the quality of the service offered, the operations, and the risk management in order to achieve the company objectives
  • Participate in multidisciplinary committees relating to special projects and digital initiatives in order to plan strategic elements, ensure smooth deployment, in addition to forecasting the impact of calls on the team and ensure that the process is optimized to control costs
What you bring to the table:
  • A valid OTL license is required. Successful candidates are expected to hold this license or be willing to obtain the necessary licensing (with the support of the organization) shortly after beginning this role.
  • Previous sales, customer service and/or call center experience
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills to develop and maintain team engagement
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and the occasional weekend if required
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, global vision and identification of optimization opportunities
  • Knowledge of Intact Agency SAC operations (asset)
  • Be a positive, inspiring and present leader on the floor
  • Can establish an engaging work environment
  • Provide structure and display strong time management skills
  • Can manage change
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Can learn quickly, to work in a team and to share ideas
