Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family N/A Category Student Number of Vacancies 3-4 Position Summary This position is to assist Dr Charity Marsh and Evie Johnny Ruddy with the creation of the AR art project, \xe2\x80\x9cLet\xe2\x80\x99s go FAR together,\xe2\x80\x9d in celebration of the UofR\xe2\x80\x99s 50th Anniversary.
Duties of the position will include:
Researching story ideas for 6 sites
Collaborative storyboarding
Creating 3D digital assets in Blender and 2D digital assets for AR
Audio recording and editing soundscapes
Position Requirements
Full-time undergraduate student;
Flexibility and time management skills, able to keep to the schedule provided;
Organisation skills and attention to detail;
Ability to work independently and as a team;
Experience creating 3D assets in Blender (or Maya);
Experience with 3D & 2D animation;
Experience with AR publishing platforms (Adobe Aero, Hoverlay)
Experience with Zoom recorders and editing audio;
Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator an asset.
