Hello, Welcome to York Region Tutoring Inc. About Us: We are a team of tutors and teachers who offer a new, modern approach to learning. We work to provide our tutors with a relaxed and fully supportive atmosphere so that they may focus solely on connecting with and tutoring students. About You: We are looking for high school tutors who specialize in the Math's (Functions, Advanced Functions, Data Management, Calculus & Vectors), Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), English and French. Requirements: Knowledge in your tutoring subject must be comprehensive in terms of having an ability to tutor high school topics on command. Thus, we highly value applicants who specialize in Math, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Preference is given to Bachelor/Master of Education Degree holders as well as Bachelors of Education students. However, university students and degree holders who specialized in any one of the above subjects will be seriously considered.

• Please note: to have a competitive application, your secondary school grades should be at least in the 90s for the subjects you are interested in tutoring unless you are an OCT or in the process of obtaining your OCT certification.

If you are interested in tutoring English, you must have or be pursuing an undergraduate degree related to English, be pursuing your OCT or be OCT certified. If you are interested in tutoring French, you must be fully bilingual. Location: Temporarily due to COVID-19, all tutoring will take place at your own home on Skype. Rate: $20-$22 Dependent on background and teaching experience. Please submit an message indicating the grades & subjects you are comfortable teaching as well as your resume.
