Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher specializing in IB (International Baccalaureate) and AP (Advanced Placement) programs. As an IB/AP Math Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and academic tutoring to high school students enrolled in IB/AP Math courses. Design and deliver engaging lessons in line with IB (HL/SL) and AP Math curriculum standards, ensuring alignment with exam requirements and student learning objectives.
Utilize diversified teaching methods (e.g., problem-solving workshops, data analysis projects, multimedia demonstrations, and interactive discussions) to enhance students' logical reasoning and application abilities.
Assign, grade, and provide detailed feedback on homework, quizzes, and practice exams, identifying knowledge gaps and optimizing teaching strategies accordingly.
Conduct one-on-one or small-group tutoring for students with individual learning needs, offering targeted support to help them improve their academic performance.
Collaborate with the academic team to share teaching resources, exchange best practices, and participate in curriculum development and teaching quality improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; in-depth understanding of IB (HL/SL) and AP Math curriculum frameworks, assessment criteria, and exam trends.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in IB/AP Math; Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) or other recognized teaching certifications are highly preferred.
Proven ability to design comprehensive course syllabi, develop teaching materials, and adapt instructional approaches to meet the needs of diverse students.
Strong independent work capabilities and teamwork spirit, with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology tools (e.g., graphing software, online teaching platforms, and multimedia resources) to support interactive and effective teaching.

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour
