Rate of Pay:

$20-$26 Per Hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Tutor Match is currently hiring various tutors. Tutors set their own availabilities (schedule) and their preferences for what grades/subjects they'd like to tutor.

-Our biggest needs currently are for tutors who would be willing to tutor literacy and math (as well as other subjects if needed) to Grades 1-5.

-Tutor Match tutors are responsible for planning their own sessions (lesson planning).

-Must be available to tutor in person in North Bay, Ontario. We also currently are in need of a tutor who lives in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario area.

-Having access to a vehicle would be ideal to travel to student homes.

-Looking for someone available long-term (until at least the end of June).

-Being able to tutor in French would be considered an asset.

-The tutor must provide a recent criminal record check.

Qualifications/Education:

-Must have at least a high school diploma.

-Ideal candidate will be studying or have completed a related program such as Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, etc.

-The candidate must have prior experience working with students and working with them in a capacity where they helped them with their school work/homework.

Deadline:

-Until position is filled.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
