Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor for University course SPRIT ( Spirituality and multi-faith theologies) 305 - scripture as story
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in subjects University SPRIT ( Spirituality and multi-faith theologies) 305 - scripture as story. Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of student.
Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation, reinforcing learning.
Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and confidence.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension and retention of material.
Collaborate with parents to share insights on student development.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Experience
Previous tutoring experience is preferred, particularly in subjects SPRIT ( Spirituality and multi-faith theologies) 305 - scripture as storyPreferably has Bachelor Degree in Psychology from University of Alberta. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus, enabling better support for diverse learning needs. Strong understanding of SPRIT ( Spirituality and multi-faith theologies) 305 - scripture as storyExperience working with children in an educational context, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Proficiency in using computer-based tools for educational purposes is beneficial.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
Work Location: Remote
