Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide personalized educational support for University Math 432 Intermediate differential equations.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in this subject areas, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed academically. This role involves developing tailored lesson plans, utilizing learning technologies, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to the unique learning needs of each student. Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance the educational experience. Provide tutoring in Math, 432. Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation while promoting critical thinking skills. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic growth. Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Engage with students in a way that encourages their interest in learning and builds their confidence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching with a strong understanding of Math 432. A degree in Education or a related field is preferred; higher education teaching experience is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
