Qualifications / Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Certified or retired teacher/Professional/ student teachers/ Education Assistants/university/College students (completed at least one full year of University/College ) Open to completing a criminal background check (Background checks from other agencies are accepted) Legally eligible to work in Canada Bilingual is an asset

The Role:

We're seeking talented tutors to

work with students of all grades

, from elementary to high school, across a range of subjects. This isn't just about helping students with homework; it's about building relationships and creating an environment where students

develop a lifelong love of learning

. As a Tutor Doctor tutor, you'll work one-on-one with students to develop tailored lessons that fit their unique learning style, helping them grow both academically and personally.

What You'll Be Doing:

Engage students

of all grades in meaningful, personalized tutoring sessions that are fun and interactive.

Focus on the whole student

, understanding their learning style, and tailoring lessons to

spark their interest

and boost confidence. Provide support in a wide range of subjects: from elementary basics to secondary school subjects. Track student progress and celebrate their successes, big and small. Foster a

growth mindset

in every student, helping them see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow.
