Overview / Responsibilities

Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Turnover Coordinator to join our Mining & Minerals construction project located near Gogama, ON. Reporting through the Project Information Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Turnover Lead in all activities to support the delivery of production and coordination of all turnover\\walkdown packages to enable commissioning to be completed in line with project schedule and in accordance with agreed procedures.

Initially working from Client office in Sudbury, positions will ultimately require site rotation through completion of the scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Filing reviewed quality documents in relevant System/Sub-system packages
  • Sorting of incoming team mailbox and distribution of items to the relevant parties
  • Management of punchlists with support from turnover coordinators
  • Resolution of all applicable items related to the tagged equipment assigned to given System/Sub-System
  • Filing and organization of documentation within the Project SharePoint page.
  • Audits being conducted on received submittals.
  • Production of packages as directed by Turnover lead\\co-lead.
  • Support Turnover Specialists to ensure all required documentation is in place and at correct status.
  • Recording completion for all MCP\\HOP items
  • Provide custody transfers for system turnovers to the client
  • Track and maintain an index of all documents completed during system walkdowns
  • Maintaining turnover team meeting minutes
Skills / Qualifications
  • Degree in relevant field of expertise required.
  • 5+ years of Turnover experience is required for this position, which must include significant experience in completions and commissioning, QA/QC or Doc Control experience in relevant field.
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Excel, Word
  • Well organized and ability to work under time constrainsts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with an Electronic Document Management System is strongly recommended
  • Able to identify problems/issues, generate solutions, and make sound decisions using standard procedures
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
  • Technical background is recommended in one or more of:
  • Electrical & Instrumentation
  • Mechanical & Piping
  • CSA
  • Earthworks (Mine)
