Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep on the golf course along with assisting in the completion of various golf course improvement initiatives as outlined by the Golf Course Superintendent.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily golf course maintenance including cutting rough, fairways, tees and greens Bunker maintenance and preparing the course for play each day. Assist in agricultural practices such as fertilizing, topdressing, verticutting, rolling and aeration Participate in irrigation repairs, head leveling and hand watering Manual labour on construction and renovation projects General property maintenance including tree and shrub pruning, leaf cleanup and hand weeding of bunkers and flower beds Housekeeping duties to ensure all areas on the golf course are maintained in a neat, organized and clean manner at all times Basic maintenance and usage of tools and equipment to ensure they are kept and operated in a safe and orderly manner
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Valid drivers license

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work hours as scheduled including early mornings, weekends and holidays Being outside in various weather conditions

Contract length: 4 months
