Job Description

Responsibilities:

Forklift Driver

Perform tasks related to the use of a forklift, such as moving merchandise within the warehouse. Inspect forklifts, perform minor maintenance, and make repairs as needed. Prepare orders awaiting truck arrival. Supply conveyors.
Truck Shunter Driver

Move trucks within the yard and to nearby buildings. Move trailers in the yard and back them into designated loading/unloading docks. Ensure trailers are positioned safely. Load and unload trucks.

Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform manual tasks such as coupling and uncoupling trailers. Follow safety guidelines and procedures for each piece of equipment used. Follow forklift and truck operation procedures. Ability to move boxes. Demonstrate accuracy. Be courteous and polite at all times.
Requirements :

Holding a valid class 1 license is required for articulated truck drivers. Proficiency in spoken French or English. Experience in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.17-$26.39 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
