Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Manage logistics and route planning to optimize delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding delivery status. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading cargo. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Pay: $60,189.13-$232,289.86 per year
