Overview

Business in Sherwood Park is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. Some warehousing required. Must be able to lift 30-50lbs.

Duties

Operate 5 ton body job truck (single axle) with power tailgate to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Will include the use of a pallet jack, and/or hand truck. Some warehousing may be required. Such as picking orders, and putting product away. Communicate effectively with other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Other duties will be communicated once hired.

Requirements

Valid Class 5 license is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures Is an asset. Clean drivers abstract required. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
