We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary for loading/unloading tasks.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Experience with freight handling and logistics preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
