Job Description

• The Truck Driver transports and delivers feed (bulk and general cargo), both raw materials and finished goods (from supplier to business and business to customer/farm) while ensuring that the right product is delivered in a timely manner with a high degree to customer service.

Job Duties:

o Receives documents, materials, and delivery notices
o Checks documents for the correctness of required data
o Checks documents of customers ambiguities, and reporting anomalies

o Submits documents and materials (bills / return forms, trip reports, vehicle registration, etc.)

Transport:
o Loads the truck / has the truck loaded, according to data mentioned in the documents, and / or supervises the manner of loading by warehouse staff
o Checks loads for quality and reports abnormalities to supervisor
o Transports goods by truck. combination or trailer, taking into account the specific properties of the trucks (such as payload, weight etc.) and local traffic
o Delivers goods within specified times

o Unloads the truck / lets the truck be unloaded of cargo on assigned locations (if relevant, with the aid of a forklift truck) or unloading of bags, taking into account specific customer requirements
o Unloads raw materials, packaging, pallets, containers and returns to the appropriate locations

Maintenance:
o Ensures availability of the vehicle at all times, plans regular maintenance and reports any serious maintenance issues.
o Checks the operation of the engine and the technical condition of the truck (oil levels, lights, etc.)
o Performs daily necessary cleaning, maintenance and care of fuel consumption. Cleans the trucks for the loading of goods and checks whether it is empty

Safety and regulations:
o Conforms to all safety and traffic regulations in order to ensure safety of goods, traffic and self
o Maintains and files trip reports (eg fuel, delivery times, visits, equipment damage, etc.)

Requirements for the role:

Valid AZ license Preferred with a clean drivers abstract

Good attention to detail and high level of customer service skills

Safety conscious

Microsoft Suite competency
