Start early morning everyday and home same day evening.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure the vehicle remains operational.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. 2 year experience. Proven experience in commercial driving, with a clean driving record. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling you to address minor mechanical issues on the road. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $6,000.00 per month

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
